A note from Teddy · 2 min read

Stay for the song

Teddy smiling in a black leather shirt beside a backstage curtain, with blue light behind him

Come in. Put a song on. You do not have to explain the day you have had.

I like a little gold. A good jacket. A microphone that catches the light. But in Pay Me in Wonder, the line I keep coming back to is the one about the note you carry home. The shine is an invitation. What stays with you is the part I care about.

That is what I want this place to hold: songs you can return to, words you can sit with, and a few things that do not fit inside a chorus. Head in the Sun can open the door. The Garden That Remembers can give you somewhere quieter to land. You can choose your own way through.

There will be room here for stories, too. One at a time. A song does not need its whole history explained before it can mean something to you, and I like leaving a little room for listening.

For now, find the one that catches you. Turn it up if the room allows. I am glad you are here.

Love, Teddy
