Some mornings the lake looks like it's holding its breath. Today was one of them. I stood at the window with coffee going cold and a guitar pick turning between my fingers, thinking about how fast this year moved.
A tour on the horizon. A new album almost ready to meet you. A new home for all of it online.
I'm grateful, and if I'm honest, a little scared. I keep thinking about the giants whose footsteps I'm walking in, and whether I can measure up.
Then I put on a record, the same way Mama used to, and the fear gets quieter. I don't have to be them. I just have to be wonderful, the Teddy Wonder way.
Tonight the lamps will be low, June will be in my lap, and I'll write until midnight finds me.
Thank you for being here.
Love,
Teddy ✨
